Bloodbikes NICU Support is an Emergency Hospital Courier Service that helps premature and sick babies by collecting Mothers milk from Donors and delivering it to Special Care Baby Units. Our charity relies soley on volunteers and fundraising. We have recently extended our service to transport mothers to and from Neonatal Intensive Care Units to enable them to spend as much time as possible with their babies whilst in care.
As a result Mike Burns is getting back on his bike to cycle from one end of the country to the other linking up the NICU locations nationwide. This year Mike will be joined by teams who all have the same objective to get their baton from the start in the North all the way down to the finish in the South to raise enough to fund the latest all purpose electric i3 BMW vehicle for this new transport service.
